About Us
Live Steam Kits Ltd is an associated company of Lynx Model Works Ltd with a workforce of 12 personnel based in the seaside resort of Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire. We have been successfully trading as Professional Model Engineers, building Live Steam Locomotives, Traction Engines and Steam Launch Engines since 2003 and have grown to meet the needs of our market.
All of our parts are manufactured using a combination of Modern Computer Numeric Controlled and Classic Manual machinery to ensure a true fit is achieved. Every locomotive kit that we offer is based upon a Prototype model built in our own workshops to avoid errors and problems at home.
